Visit with Ed and Bracha

This weekend Ed and Bracha came to visit us from Orlando for Shabbos.  On Sunday (the fast day) was the unveiling of Ed's mother's tomb stone in Fort Lauderdale so we went with them for the ceremony and then visited Benyamin's grave which is in the same cemetery.  It was a rather somber day, to say the least.  (not to mention, unbearably hot and difficult to be fasting!)

After the fast on Sunday we went to cine citta in Surf Side.  (our favorite dairy restaurant!) Monday afternoon we took the boat out for a short trip to the Waterways in Aventura.  As soon as we were out in the boat I came down with a migraine but tried to grin and bear it.  I finally got ahold of some motrin which helped, I think.  Of course it meant no mojitos for me but alas...

We docked the boat with the harbormaster (whose secretary didn't know how to accept a credit card or make change!)  We must have been the first ones to ever do so!  We had a delicious meal at China Bistro and lots of fun!
